“Behind the Destruction: Hope and Solidarity” Talk Held

At our university, the program “Behind the Destruction: Hope and Solidarity”, aimed at women affected by the earthquake, was successfully held. The event took place on the anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes and was attended by Sevgi ER, spouse of the Mayor of Malatya Metropolitan Municipality; Şeyda BENTLİ, spouse of the Rector of Malatya Turgut Özal University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep SAĞIR, Head of the Psychology Department; spouses of provincial protocol members; and women and families affected by the earthquake.

The program began with opening remarks by Şeyda Bentli, followed by speeches from Sevgi ER. During the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep SAĞIR delivered a speech and also served as the moderator, addressing the challenges faced by women.

The program concluded with Sevgi ER presenting gifts to the women affected by the earthquake and Şeyda Bentli presenting gifts to the spouses of the esteemed protocol members, highlighting the significance and meaning of the day.
